About Lilaah
Founded on years of operational experience in the safety domain — with practice as the starting point.
Why Lilaah exists
Lilaah was born from the conviction that good training makes the difference between knowing what to do and actually being able to do it when it counts. Not from theory, but from practice: the beach, the water, emergency response, and the teams that need to rely on that every day.
As Linda van der Veeke’s sole proprietorship, Lilaah combines training, coaching and management support at the intersection of water safety, medical care and lifeguarding — always with the same approach: training lifesaving action in a way that stays human and matches the reality of the work.
Where the name Lilaah comes from
LILAAH stands for Linda’s Lifeline Assist and Health. The name comes directly from Linda’s own experience as a lifeguard, duty officer (OVD), medic and trainer — roles in which she saw time and again how much difference it makes to be properly prepared for the moment it truly matters. That experience, from the beach to the training room, is the core of what Lilaah stands for: being a lifeline, literally and figuratively, by equipping people and organisations with the knowledge and skills to save lives.

What Lilaah stands for
Lifesaving action
The ultimate goal of every training: enabling people to genuinely step in when needed.
Human
Technical skills matter, but never separate from the person behind them — as a responder and as a casualty.
Reality based
Training the way it really happens: realistic scenarios, time pressure and unpredictability included.
Organisation and leadership
From individual skill to team direction: Lilaah looks beyond the single training session to how a team or organisation functions as a whole.
